Hi, my name is Lilly and I like spending time in nature to practice my survival and bushcraft skills. This is a holistic survival channel which means that besides wilderness survival I also do modern survival videos. Sometimes I use modern tools which people might have at hand in a real survival situation. Also all of my videos are pre-recorded, which mean that they do not get released immediately after I film then. That is why seasons in the video can differ from actual seasons. Thanks for watching ~ Survival Lilly

  1. This is how I build a cage trap from bamboo. As the wood dries out it should get much lighter. Also another trigger system like the pajute deadfall trap can be used instead of the figure system. I want to thank you for watching my videos. If you want to support me you can do so on Patreon: Thanks. Lilly

    1. +Suvival Lilly Excellent tutorial and demonstration. Are you allowed in Austria to use a snare in a true survival situation? Snares are generally illegal to use in the US, unless it is for survival. Stay safe out there. Cheers.

    2. If you use steel bailing wire twisted on with pliers no animal could chew through it, and it will never stretch.

    3. @rich carson, i would be equally as happy to see Dave Mcintyre get a shout out and have his content duplicated (where i learned the trap) , but he doesn’t talk about using it to get water (came up with that part myself). Philosophy of use and proper technique are really important when talking about a survival trap.

    4. i’m asking for a shout out *if* she duplicates the content in my video from a week or two ago; to help a larger audience learn a survival skill that could be the difference between life and death. i’m not claiming to be better, but there is a right way and a wrong way to build an arapuca cage trap. This isn’t exactly wrong, but for a survival situation it isn’t exactly right. survival is a serious topic, and therefor accurate information on survival should be taken very seriously.

  2. Making the trap part was cool but I wish you would have shown how to set the trigger mechanism up that’s 1/2 the point

  3. my buddy says that length of video seemed just right & complements you on your 4 mechanism & complements Austria for having Live Traps in non-survival circumstances.

  4. Hello lily from USA I really like your videos and would like to support your channel I am very much into archery also like you and would like to send you something .I just don,t know where to send anything do you accept donations i would like to make sure your videos continue.

  5. Lilly, what will you do if you catch a porcupine? Think I’d try to open the trap from afar and bid him Guten Tag.
