  1. Been a few years ago, but I was able to connect with a 12 inch plate a few times at 300 yards after a cylinder of sighters with a Taurus 44 with a 6.5″ barrel. The load was a .432 270 grain Ranchdog over a midrange load of Herco. Shoot at enough stuff, with a decent gun and decent ammo, and you’ll hit something eventually. No disrespect to Elmer, he did a lot of great things for revolvers, but I think he also took a LOT of long shots at misc critters with is six shooter. On that note, I’d love to see you guys work out a revolver at the long range gongs!

  2. Won’t have a Henry because of the cheap loading tube, if they put a loading gate on it like all the other “modern”
lever actions like the 1894 winchester or 1894 marlin or the 92 Rossi I might consider it.

  3. @Iraqveteran8888 – I’d love to see some gel tests on the 357 mag out of lever guns. Also I’d live to see if the skinner sights perform any better than the buckhorn. Or how about a mini red dot?

  4. What’s going on with FPS?  Last I heard he was in trouble for receiving drugs through the mail, and they went to his house again shortly after that.
