Gerber Shark Belly: 2.3 oz. of Slickness for Everyday Carry (EDC)

People have had issues with Gerber in the last few years, and I get it. However, Gerber has seemed be making a real effort to change things, and I think the Shark Belly is a sign of that. USA-made, 420HC steel, 2.3 oz., and around $30 – pretty solid. Check it out and tell me what you think.

  1. They actually named it the shark belly because of the handle texture…….rub it one way and its smooth, the other way rougher to give you a better grip on it

  2. Very interesting knife very cool unlike most of gerber knives in my opinion to bad it’s 420 steel guess that’s how they keep the price down ☹️

  3. I bought one in December, and I love it. Mine is the partially serrated version, and I personally think this knife is better with the serrations.
