EMP Prepping: Building a Good Faraday Cage

1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars

In this video I discuss the basics of faraday cages and how to protect your electronics in the case of a High Altitude EMP. Electromagnetic pulse is a very low probability but high impact event, its worth having some plan in place for this in light of the tense state of the world.

    1. Yeah xD The video was up for 10 mins before it was blocked in a few countries. He didn’t reupload it though but it was funny that he said in the video I better turn the radio off before I get demonetized! haha

    2. Faraday bag? What a great idea! I might have to swallow my pride and actually use credit for this. Thanks👍🏽👍🏽

    3. Turn off the radio before the video gets demonetized or copyright! LOL I know someone who did a similar video, with the radio test, which that happened to.

  2. I HAVE A STEEL TRUCK BOX AND I HAVE SEALED IT UP WITH ALUMINUM TAPE AND CARDBOARD ON ALL SEEMS PLUS EVERYTHING IN STATIC BAGS..WILL ALUMINUM KEEP OUT THE EMP PULSE? OR DOES STEEL WORK BETTER? ANYBODY??

  3. COOL – so my electronic gadgets will be working and I’ll just be a blackened silhouette on a brick wall. Neat! J/K ;)))

  4. I use an old refrigerator. Fully metal ouside with insulation built-in. Alumuminum tape around the door to seal it. Grounded. Hope it works.
