  1. If you find more in Canada buy them. The CBSA has banned the importation of essentially every folding knife

  2. I own several quick retractable knives and have been using them for years. Word of caution though, the RCMP is now classifying these knives as dangerous lethal weapons and are on the band list. Not surprised… pretty soon regular knives, forks and spoons will be on that list. Shame on those parasites. I guess we’ll have to chew our food apart and eat with our fingers. In time plastic utensils will be there too. Can’ t be a prepper if these idiots rule the roost. There is petitions out there to try and stop this madness. I had one sent to me by Remington. Thought I’d share that with you all. Enjoy your site, keep it up. Didn’t mean to get off topic.

  3. Not a knife guy myself, not tactical or EDC folders anyway. My EDC “folder” is an old Bolker Solingen Germany Tree Brand w/ Stag Handle…Why…because it used to belong to someone I knew and I like it because it’s classic, and small and sharp. Sure I’d take a Devin Thomas Sebenze 21 folder with a Raindrop Damascus blade if I had 7 hunnard dollars “American” to drop, but in the meantime something like this Benchmade with the SV30, which had been known as the finest knife steel available at least a while back it was and I think it still is, for about $130.00…sounds like a deal. I do like the fact that it’s narrow so I can clip it inside my wallet so if I get mugged I can pull out my wallet and ring’em up… “Here’s my money & here’s some cold steel to go with it – cha ching.
